Oktoberfest | NYC

For three weekends from the beginning of September to the first weekend of October, you can enjoy steins of beer, dancing, and lots of great food. Embrace the authenticity of German culture while enjoying the great view of New York! Although this is a free festival, be sure to register for tickets before they’re sold out.

Queens County Fair | Queens

Noted as one of the most popular events New York hosts out of the entire year, the Queens County Fair is blast. Although New York has a reputation of a city vibe, the county fair brings in agriculture, livestock, produce, and more. From hayrides and games, to vendors and food you won’t have trouble finding something fun here. Located at Queens County Farm Museum, this is a free event for farm members, however if you’re not a member, it’s $10 for adults, and $5 for children ages 12 and under.

Atlantic Antic | Downtown Brooklyn

Sunday, September 24th will hold the 43rd annual Atlantic Antic Festival. A fun festival that’s known as the oldest and largest street festival in downtown Brooklyn. No matter your interests or hobbies, this street festival has something for everyone. The festival will occur from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., rain or shine!

Halloween Dog Parade | Thompson Square Park

If you’re a dog lover, than the Annual Thompson Square Dog Halloween Dog Parade is must-do this fall. Put your dog in a cute or creative costume and let them strut down the street. Hundreds of dogs join together for this event and have a barking good time. Even if you don’t have a dog, you can simply go to enjoy the furry friends and funny costumes.

Foliage Tour | Central Park

If you’re looking for something free and fun to do while visiting the city this fall, take a self-guided tour through Central Park! The foliage offers incredible picture opportunities with scenic backgrounds. While you’re there, you can take a carriage ride, rent a bike, or even join in on a guided walking tour. Macy’s Day Parade | NYC

The annual Thanksgiving Macy’s Day Parade yields good tidings and much gratefulness. People from all over the country gather together to bear the cold to see a stunning lineup of music and performances.
